The Investment Training Workshop is a termly session designed to give founders a practical introduction to funding and investment.
Programme overview
Aimed at those in the Launch and Grow stages, the investment training workshop provides a clear foundation for navigating the investment landscape with confidence.
The session covers the essentials – from company structures and types of investors to the key considerations when raising capital. Delivered in an accessible and practical format, it demystifies investment and helps participants understand how to position their ventures for funding.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have greater clarity on their options, the next steps in their fundraising journey, and the confidence to engage with investors.
Who is it for?
Open to the entire University of Oxford community, including:
- Undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Researchers
- Staff
- Alumni (within 2 years of graduation)
The workshop is particularly relevant for founders who are actively exploring how to secure funding for their venture.
How to apply
The Investment Training Workshop runs once a term. Registration is required and places are limited.
