Theatre on Tap – A 24 Hour Play Challenge in a Pub – Monday 17th June 2019:

Theatre on Tap is the launch event for Part of the Night, a new theatre company on a mission to make the nightlife scene safer, more exciting, and more inviting to women, trans, non-binary, and queer individuals. Co-founded by Olivia Munk, University of Oxford Class of 2017 and recipient of Oxford's Graduate Entrepreneur Visa 2018-2020, Part of the Night will be filling pubs and clubs across the UK with something that brings everyone together: really good stories.

Theatre on Tap is a 24 hour play event, meaning the writers, directors and performers only have one day to create three brand-new pieces of theatre. The clock starts when the writers walk into the pub at midday on the 16th. When the pub closes that night, our actors and directors will get their final scripts, each fifteen to twenty minutes long, and they’ll have from when the pub opens up on June 17 until show time at 6:45 pm to make completely new and exciting immersive theatre.
