The next Oxford Business Forum will take place on Thursday 21st September at the Four Pillars Hotel, Abingdon Road in Oxford. This event will explore the ways in which our two universities work alongside local businesses and a range of organisations to generate economic growth and ensure greater access to knowledge, research expertise and talented graduates, whilst supporting the development of the city and region.
Our chair for the evening will be Nigel Tipple CEO of OxLEP. Our main speakers will include Dr. Stuart Wilkinson, Head of the Knowledge Exchange and Impact Team at the University of Oxford, and David Hartley, Commercialisation and Knowledge Exchange Director at Oxford Brookes University. They will explain the the roles their organisations play in to commercialising innovation and testing new ideas and supporting sustained economic growth.
In addition, we will hear directly from some of the 'Big Science' facilities in the county on the ways they work with business to develop technology with local and global impact. We hope you can join us.
