The St Edmund Hall Centre for the Creative Brain invite you to join us on the Saturday 24th of February, from 3.00pm- 6.30pm in St Edmund Hall, University of Oxford. This event will explore how the brain encodes information through stories and narrative, what makes a good story, and how this can be harnessed to allow more effective communication. The afternoon will close with a workshop, hosted by Simon De Deney of Infinite Space, to allow attendees to practice creating their own stories.
Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the afternoon, and a drinks reception will be held at the end of the symposium.
The symposium is free and open to all. We welcome undergraduates, post-graduates, parents, academics, scientist, artists and anyone with an interest in storytelling and communication.
Enterprising Oxford is a University of Oxford initiative to help connect people to the entrepreneurship resources they need, and to promote entrepreneurship across Oxfordshire.
