Relationships and Power – what’s money got to do with it?
Come and find out in an experiment in participatory grant making – where power for decision making is taken by YOU!
We will use a mini design Hack to explore simple ideas that help to build relationships, networks and or collaborations in Oxford. Participants will co-design a process that supports collective decision making. We will use this process to decide which idea/s will be supported by the £1000.
Ideas will have been gathered from the community attending Marmalade in advance of the event. To submit an idea email firstname.lastname@example.org
Who is this session aimed at?
Any individual or group representatives who have an interest in supporting positive relationships and who would like to help develop more equality of voice in grant decision making processes.
Lankelly Chase Foundation and Lucy Warin from Transition by Design will be hosting this session. They want help in designing participatory methods that encourage equality of voice, mutual accountability and sharing of power.
No expertise required just an interest in positive social change.
Arrive at 13:30 for a 14:00 start.
