Oxford Group event 5.30pm for 6pm start.
Ever wondered what happens inside an Employment Tribunal? Here is your chance to gain some first-hand experience. The Employment team at Withy King in conjunction with 3PB Barristers’ Chambers, who specialise in employment law, will present an informative, interactive and practical mock Employment Tribunal.
Attendees will gain an insight into how a Tribunal is structured and a claim is progressed; how to prepare for a Tribunal hearing; how to formulate effective witness statements and avoid some common pitfalls. The Tribunal will involve a real Employment Judge, barristers from 3PB and witnesses for the claimant and respondent. After hearing the evidence the Employment Judge will retire before delivering the Judgment. As always, there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions during the Tribunal. Who should attend? The event is a must for all HR professionals, managers, senior managers and directors who have responsibility for staff issues and would like to gain insight into the workings of an Employment Tribunal.
