10 April 2019 07:30-09:30
You are invited to our third Oxford EV Business Networking event. The theme is eBikes. Oxford City Council, in partnership with Oxfordshire Greentech (the county’s new low-carbon business network), are excited to announce our next event, an eBike Business Breakfast on Wednesday 10 April from 07.30 to 09.30 in the refectory of Wolfson College.
Immediately following the our eBike Breakfast, the eBike Summit will commence. Unfortunately, the eBike Summit is now sold out. There is a lot of energy and talk about EV cars and vans. But what about eBikes? They are already here, are easy to use, and are perhaps more suitable to the city conditions we live and operate in. They don’t take up near as much space, are more mobile, easier to park, don’t come with the same charging restrictions, can carry huge amounts of freight, and are often quicker and not as susceptible to congestion issues. Is our transport/ freight solution already here?
OCC Board Member for Safer, Greener Environment (Tom Hayes)
OxWash (Ben Towler) Pedal and Post (Chris Benton)
Riese and Mueller (Dan Jones)
Fully Charged (Dan Parsons)
The format of the breakfast is as follows:
07.30 Arrive, breakfast, and networking
8.00 Speakers present informally (standing)
8.30-9.30 Networking and opportunity for delegates to try out eBikes outside You'll also have the opportunity to test-ride some of the eBikes and see for yourself what they are capable of.
A simple breakfast, coffee, tea and juice will be provided. Please feel free to share this invite with any colleagues or other parties you think might be interested in attending. This series of events is delivered by Oxford City Council as part of its Low Carbon Oxford programme.
