At this meeting, we're looking at One Mission, by Chris Fussell.

Chris is a former Navy SEAL who co-wrote Team of Teams with General Stanley McChrystal. They argued for a new organisational model that combined the agilit, adaptability, and cohesion of a small team with the power and resources of a giant organisation.

In One Mission, he offers a practical guide to implementing this approach. Too often, he argues, companies end up with teams stuck in their own silos – pursuing goals and metrics in isolation. This inevitably fails in a world that demands constant adaptation. By committing to one higher mission, he suggests, organizations develop an overall capability that far exceeds the sum of their parts.

We hope you can join us for another splendid evening over a glass (or two) of wine.

Remember that you don't have to read anything in advance!

The book is available at a discount from our friends at Blackwell's, who are also kindly offering 10 per cent off anything else in the store on the night.

You can also buy a copy online – again at a reduced price – and with free delivery here:

As always, we very much look forward to seeing you there!
