We are pleased to announce details of our March BioTuesday event, taking place on 12 March and kindly hosted by the Oxford BioEscalator. The BioEscalator has been designed with early-stage business in mind, and the topic of 'How to Grow Your Start-Up' is aimed at providing expert support and advice to all founders or new CEO's of start-up companies who are at the beginning of their exciting journey. The road to successful growth will be exhilarating, scary and littered with setbacks and challenges, and it's important you are as prepared as you can be, to ensure you have the best chance of achieving results for both the company and future patients. During the period of early growth, it's important to draw on the experience of others, who can help you avoid making common mistakes that take additional, precious funds and management time to fix, and our line-up of expert presenters will help you do just that.
Discussion will include
- Mentoring – we will hear some secrets to success from entrepreneurs who have started and built successful companies
- Intellectual Property – specialists will share insight into the importance of protecting your Intellectual Property, and having the right strategy in place from the start.
- Funding – Gain insight about grant funding available, how to access it and how to access funding from the private investment community.
- Talent and People – how to ensure you have the right types of people with the right knowledge and experience to support growth and the importance of establishing a healthy culture from the get go.
