With over 475 million professional profiles worldwide (and 23 million+ business users in the UK) LinkedIn has become the most important tool for engaging clients, prospects and partners.

This masterclass will develop your LinkedIn skills to enable you to confidently make the best use of LinkedIn. Anyone in consulting, sales, engineering, marketing, customer support or HR will gain value from this workshop. This half-day hands-on workshop provides you with a full overview of LinkedIn as a business development tool. You will work from your own personal LinkedIn profile and gain knowledge of how to unlock the power of LinkedIn for your business needs. You will be provided with lots of examples of how other businesses and professionals use Linkedin successfully. There will be a refreshment break during the morning and we will end with a lunch for everyone to get to know each other.

Objectives: You will gain the knowledge and skills to: 1.Optimise your personal and business LinkedIn profiles 2.Increase your personal and business brands 3.Automate feeds of articles to your profile 4.Utilise LinkedIn as an advanced search and research tool 5.Enhance business development processes 6.Network and engage with groups 7.Use free supporting tools: dlvr.it, endole.com and flipboard Requirements: You already have a LinkedIn Profile (it does not matter how developed it is) and please bring your laptop or tablet to the workshop. You will work on your own LinkedIn profile and perform example tasks during the workshop. Location: This workshop will run at the conference centre in the beautiful grounds of Howbery Park. There is free parking at the park and the workshop will be catered for both refreshments and a lunch.

Your Instructor: John Cooke has worked in the IT industry for over 22 years, including with IBM and Microsoft. He was in Microsoft’s first UK Internet team and was one of the first 100,000 people to use LinkedIn. John has launched two technology businesses, is a Microsoft Certified Trainer, business development specialist and a mentor to the founders of technology start-ups at Innovation Birmingham’s campus. John has delivered this LinkedIn Masterclass workshop more than 20 times to over 250 professionals.
