Prior to joining UK Trade & Investment, Angus spent ten years running the export departments of various multinational manufacturing companies in the Creative Industries, Engineering and Consumer Goods sectors. His key territories included the EMEA and Americas region. Angus is a fluent Spanish speaker with a strong cultural empathy. Angus is passionate about UK exports and has a wealth of practical experience in doing business and managing distribution channels. In addition to managing a team of International Trade Advisers, Angus is also UKTI South East’s Latin America specialist and takes frequent trade missions to the region. Keynote Speaker 2:Senior Executive from Owen Mumford Established in 1952, Owen Mumford is now an industry leader in the medical device market with offices, manufacturing sites and a network of distributors around the globe. Sixty years on, Owen Mumford remains a family owned business. Their strategy is to focus 100% on the medical device market, establishing strong and flexible teams and seeking to develop all their Associates. They intend to build on their concept-to-industrialisation capability, driving continuous improvement overall while providing investment to support future growth and development, whilst meeting our corporate, social and environmental responsibilities. In 2008 they won two Queen Awards; one for International Trade and the second for Enterprise and Innovation. These speech and others will be followed by an Expert Panel Q&A session with the audience.
