Introduction to Content Marketing explains the right (and wrong) way to use content to grow for business. It's a combination of the latest, smartest ideas from leading content marketers two decades working with the world's leading brands a wealth of experience coaching startups and SMEs delivered as a series of straightforward, easy-to-understand tips that build on each other. No prior knowledge or experience of content marketing is required.
We start from scratch. The day begins with your Reframe. What's the point of content marketing? Should you aim to be a thought leader – or is there a smarter approach? How does it prepare the ground for your sales activity? We then consider your Content. What should you be producing? Who are the target audience? What's the value in the content for them? Where should you post it? It's then time for Persuasion. How can you write in an engaging way? What can social psychology tell us about leaving a lasting impression on our followers? We finish with Automation. How do we make the most of our investment in content marketing? Which services can we use to save time and money? At the end of the morning, we make sure everyone leaves knowing what one thing could transform their content marketing in a day, in a week and in a month.
