The HiTECH innovation forum, founded by a small group of Oxford post-docs and graduate students, has rapidly grown to become the largest platform for connecting UK entrepreneurs and Chinese investors. Bridging the gap between research, innovation and enterprise in the UK is at the core of what we do.
We are currently running the inaugural HiStar Competition, and with separate categories for startups and early-stage ideas, this competition offers the perfect opportunity high-tech entrepreneurs and startups at all stages of development. Through our strong industry links with high profile Chinese investors, accelerators, research institutes and other innovation platforms, we will help accelerate your startups and reach investors and customers in the Chinese market.
Shortlisted entries will be invited to an intensive weekend boot camp, run in conjunction with the Henley Business School. Here we will give you training on developing your business plan and engaging with investors in China. We’ll introduce you to our experienced and successful business mentors, who'll help you shape your business plan and hone your pitch. You'll also get your first chance to meet with our influential investor partners.
