CPD at Abingdon & Witney College is a Continuing Professional Development Event for Business people wishing to update their knowledge on variety of business topics. This will create a great networking opportunity. In addition to this, we will have tutors and information on hand regarding our professional courses and we look forward to meeting you to discuss your development requirments. We have courses available in Accounting & Business from Level 1 to Level 7 including AAT, ACCA, ILM and CIPD. The following short seminars will be available for you to attend: Leadership Speaker: Graham Wilson Graham is a part-time Tutor in Psychology and Counselling at the University of Oxford, and Lecturer in Leadership, Management and Business Studies. He works as a confidant to individual clients in the public and private sector helping them navigate psycho-dynamics, politics and behaviour. His tenth book, "Distributed Leadership" is due to be published in the summer, followed by "The Advanced Coaching Companion" in the autumn. Using Recruitment Agencies Successfully Speaker: Belinda Elliott – Bluestream Recruitment Bluestream Recruitment is an independent Recruitment Agency that started life in Abingdon back in 2007, and as the credit crunch hit in 2008 the company was restructured and moved to Harwell Campus. They also joined the REC to ensure that we work to the highest of ethical standards.. The company has gone from strength to strength, and the Bluestream team work very successfully alongside many large blue chip, and medium to small independent companies. He provides employers with the information, advice and support they need to effectively implement apprenticeship, NVQ and work-based learning programmes. Striving to offer excellent customer service and creative problem-solving to find the right solution for each individual company. Working with apprenticeships for the last four years Ed has a wealth of experience in setting up and managing apprenticeship programmes with SMEs and large employers alike, covering Hairdressing to Advanced Engineering and everything in between.
