Confessions of an Entrepreneur is a guest speaker series from the Oxford Launchpad and the Careers Service, designed to help you get an insight into the mindset of current entrepreneurs. You’ll learn tips, tricks – and the highs and lows of being an entrepreneur, or entrepreneurial. William Ou is a Brazilian serial entrepreneur that has started companies in different segments, such as consumer goods, entertainment and publishing. He is co-founder of Superbrands, company that has sold more than 50 million of toothbrushes and 12 million tubes of Super Glue over a period of 7 years in Brazil, a country where almost 50% of the new companies close before they complete 3 years. William is a former McKinsey Business Analyst and a current Said Foundation Scholar at the 2015 MBA class in Said Business School. William will talk about the challenges of starting companies in a developing country, competing with industry champions and developing a Supply Chain in China.
