Confessions of an Entrepreneur is a guest speaker series from the Oxford Launchpad and the Careers Service, designed to help you get an insight into the mindset of current entrepreneurs. You’ll learn tips and tricks – and the highs and lows of being an entrepreneur, or entrepreneurial. Richard is Head of UK Clients having joined Berenberg in June 2011 from Schroders Private Banking. He started his career in corporate finance having initially qualified as a chartered accountant at KPMG and went on to co-found the European office of an international corporate finance firm, Compass Advisers. Richard is the founder of Impact Ventures UK, an award-winning social enterprise investment fund; a Director of the Montpelier Foundation and a member of the UK Cabinet’s Investment and Contract Readiness Fund. He also sits on the Advisory Council and is a Board Director of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Richard sits on the Advisory Council of the Institute for Family Business and is a member of the Family Business Steering Committee for the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
