Careers Visioning: What are the critical dimensions for a successful life and career? Nick Lovegrove The Mosaic Principle – The benefits of a broad-minded approach to today’s challenges
In his recently published book The Mosaic Principle, Nick Lovegrove argues that we need a broad range of experiences to tackle today’s most vexing and complex problems – rather than the specialist approach that is so often favoured in today’s society. He encourages us to take a broader approach, showing how we can develop the mosaic of skills we need to make the most of ourselves and our careers, to the benefit of all.
Drawing upon more than three decades of leadership experience in business, government and the social sector, Lovegrove encourages us to take a broader view. He shows how we can develop the mosaic of skills we need to make the most of ourselves and our careers. This includes finding our core values and driving interests, across sectors and disciplines and how to develop skills that travel with us and are adaptable in new environments. He focusses on how we can connect with wider groups of people and crucially how to prepare our minds – and use our most valuable gift, our time – for the opportunities these changes will trigger. Registration is essential so please click the 'Register' button above to confirm your attendance. About the speaker Nick Lovegrove is a consultant, executive coach, and writer.
