Teams or individuals have the opportunity to receive full funding to deliver their innovative carbon saving projects over the coming academic year (2015/16) whilst also receiving mentoring from industry experts. Successful candidates may have the option to discuss internships and career opportunities. How does the Programme work?Image of timeline Friday 16 October Launch Day Further information will be provided about the rules of the competition and the assumptions and conversion figures that must be used when calculating carbon savings for proposals. October-November: Drop in sessions support teams to develop the business case for their idea. December: Teams will then present their proposals to the judging panel, where funding will be allocated to the best and most viable projects. Funded projects between 0-10k will then be expected to begin project implementation. Funded projects over 10k will be offered further support and mentoring. Where project delivery cannot reasonably be expected before April, it’s possible that further development and planning will be accepted within this timescale. January-March Project implementation of all projects, with extra mentoring for >£10k projects. April: In April, each of the successful project teams will come together to present their projects in front of the panel and audience.
