How can we meet the needs of children and young people living in a complex and challenging world? Sometimes the difference between making positive life choices and negative ones is the interactions we have with supportive and well-resourced people around us. The way children and young people interact with opportunities presented to them is changing and we want to explore how those working with children and young people are adapting to meet their needs. Should we encourage new, creative youth outreach? How are we supporting families and children to ensure support is available from an early age? Who is missing out on (often vital) services and how are the voluntary sector responding? These are some of the questions we will explore in this interactive session looking at creative and innovative ways to meet the needs of young people. Oxfordshire Youth will be hosting this session on behalf of the Children and Young People’s Forum (C&YP). The C&YP Forum is the leading space for charities and voluntary groups working with children and young people aged 0-25, aiming to influence change in Oxfordshire.
