Open Cosmos removes space access barriers by simplifying space technology, offering a one-stop-shop to orbit, reducing time and cost.  Oxford Space Systems (OSS) is an award-winning space technology business that's pioneering the development of a new generation of deployable antennas and structures for the global satellite industry.  Redbox Mobile PLC is a full-service App Store Optimisation company with an innovative difference, Blackbox Platform. The Blackbox Platform is a fully automated paid search platform which gives users the ability to monitor their iOS and UAC campaigns 24/7 and make changes at the click of a button.  Serelay's Trusted Media Capture (TMC) technology enables any mobile device user to capture photos and videos which are inherently verifiable.

 

The judges This year’s expert line-up of judges will put the startups through their paces whilst also providing valuable insight and guidance drawn from their own experiences. The judging panel will include:  Helene Koutsoudakis, Operating Partner, HG Capital  Helene is Operating Partner at HG Capital, supporting the CFO’s across their portfolio companies. HG are the number one investor and owner of technology businesses in Europe. Prior to HG Helene was Group Finance Director at Advanced Computer Software Group Limited (ACS) which was sold to Vista Equity Partners in 2015. During her time at ACS she was involved in over 10 acquisitions and led transformation changes within finance and the wider business.  Barry Carter, Partner, KPMG in the UK. Barry has over twenty years’ experience of transaction related work with particular focus on Technology businesses. He heads the Technology sector team for EMA within Transaction Services and has significant cross border deal experience. He has provided deal advice on domestic and international transactions for clients such as IBM, Motorola, Google, eBay and Microsoft. 

 

About BBTS The competition is an opportunity for British tech businesses to raise their profile and gain access to investment opportunities, corporate connections and MWC's 100,000 attendees.
