Oxford Technology & Media Presents Autumn Networking Event 2017 "Blockchain for Good?” Date: Monday 25th September 2017, 6.00pm to 9.00pm Venue: The Story Museum, 42 Pembroke Street, Oxford, OX1 1BP
As Bitcoin climbs through the $2500-dollar mark and overtakes the value of gold, this event examines Blockchain – its underpinning technology. In particular it will explore non-financial developments such as ID2020 for identity management, provenance of food, as well as looking at the potential impact of innovations such as smart contracts and the viability of Digital Autonomous Organisations to make an impact on society.
