Program overview

The program is a pan-European initiative sponsored by EIT Health which aims to give you a solid foundation to start planning an entrepreneurial venture based on a research topic of your interest. As a program participant you receive coaching and training throughout the process and are introduced to the challenges of innovating in health care and ways in which to overcome those challenges. Experienced instructors from some of Europe’s leading institutions on health care innovation will guide you through topics such as market need identification and validation; solution concept generation and validation; how to navigate intellectual property, regulatory, and reimbursement complexities; and business development.

During the Training Camp you will get the opportunity to network with likeminded PhD students from the following partner universities, and more:

• Karolinska Institutet

• Sorbonne Université

• Universidade de Coimbra

• Université Grenoble Alpes

• Universität zu Köln

During the training camp you will engage in lectures, workshops, and networking activities and the camp will conclude with a pitch competition where the winners will receive cash prizes of up to 3,000 € in six separate prize categories.
