This is a Morning Master Class for any woman who wants to use cloud apps. You will need to be able and willing to bring and use a computer, tablet or mobile device. The workshop key elements include: Cloud: what it is and why we use it Popular services: Gmail, Dropbox, Slack, Doodle and more Protecting yourself: when passwords aren’t enough. You will leave : Understanding the ‘cloud’ and appreciate its value Familiar with some popular apps Have the ability to find other apps and judge their reliability Appreciate the importance of using different passwords and ‘twofactorauthentication’ The workshop will be delivered in an interactive manner through the "bring your own devices" operated by delegates, group discussion and exercises. Delegates are asked to bring laptops with up to date browsers if at all possible rather than mobile devices (e.g. Tablets and phones). Follow up Q&A by email, forum or Zendesk is welcome.
