This is a Morning Master Class for business owners who wish to replace or improve their website — and to understand the business case for not doing so. You will need a laptop and some understanding of digital terms and browsing, but you do not need an understanding of marketing. This workshop is about building profitable businesses, not technology or toys. The workshop key elements include: Audiences and calls to action Content: what should they know? Functionality: what should they do? Navigation: solutions? problems? audiences? SEO: content, technology and links, analytics Evaluating a website, digital professionals and briefing changes Recognising different skill sets: design, develop, populate, promote, analyse Drafting a skeleton brief for existing or new suppliers. The workshop will be delivered in an interactive manner through the "bring your own devices" operated by delegates, group discussion and exercises.
