Starting in October 2022, Zinc’s next Venture Builder will launch with the mission to transform the industries that have the most impact on our environmental crisis. Zinc is looking for 70 exceptional individuals from all over the world who want to create a brand-new commercial venture to tackle the environmental crisis the world is facing. Zinc will provide investment of up to £250,000, as well as an intensive 12-month programme of support. Apply today!
What does this mission mean?
For this Venture Builder, starting in October 2022 we’ll be bringing together 70 individuals to build b2b businesses that transform the fishing, farming & food; manufacturing & supply chain; construction & building operations; and transport industries. The manifesto is here.
Who are we looking for?
As with every mission, Zinc Founders must demonstrate a number of common characteristics including: ambition, drive, resilience and entrepreneurial spirit. The Venture Builder brings together talented professionals from a wide range of backgrounds including people working in commercial businesses, research institutes, technology development (such as in data science), architecture, law, urban planning, construction management, shipping, or manufacturing (fashion, car or food sectors).
Sounds like people you might know?
Over 40% of Founders on previous cohorts have heard about the Venture Builder through word-of-mouth and personal referrals. We want to make sure that the best individuals who are passionate about applying their experience, expertise and next chapter of their career to building a venture that tackles our environmental crisis know about this opportunity. We endorse UK Startup/Innovator visas so this opportunity is open to everyone.
Places are offered on a first come first serve, rolling basis.
Applicants should apply by 9 June to join our first Pre-Founders Day
