Understand how investors would value your business and how to design effective business models for long-term growth in a competitive space!
About this Event
Creo Incubator and Enterprising Women at the University of Oxford invite you to attend their co-hosted event, Value for Money.
This is an opportunity to learn how to strengthen your start-up’s business model since early days to set a long-term strategy and to understand how investors ‘value’ a company.
The event will feature two keynote speakers who aim to empower you with the skillset for growth while informing you how an outsider would value your company.
- Katie Heming is a senior lecturer in digital entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial leadership, and a strategic consultant for All Space Digital, a new business magazine for young, diverse entrepreneurs. Join Value for Money to equip yourself with the business model know-how needed for your entrepreneurial journey.
- Lynne Marlor, CEO and founder of Transformational Strategies, LLC and co-Founder of YieldUp, a Boston based fintech marketplace, plans to go into the depth of valuation techniques. Lynne was formerly the Managing Director and Head of Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon) Corporate and Specialized Industry group. She is currently a Senior Advisor to EnterpriseWomen at Cambridge University.
- Both speakers will be using real-world examples and case studies.
The event will be facilitated by Dr Martine Abboud, founder of Creo Incubator and MPLS Enterprise Fellow at the University of Oxford (Forbes 30U30 – Europe).
