In his many roles including working in universities for 15 years, freelancing and being a comedian. Steve has learned the importance of managing your workload, prioritising your tasks and maintaining your well-being. The key to it all is learning how to say no in a way that helps, rather than as a block to progress. Apply this to your business, work life or study and you will be winning.
Steve (He/Him) is a skills trainer focused on helping experts to become the most effective versions of themselves. He has been a lab scientist, a museum curator, a festival director, a university manager and a comedian. His freelance clients include governments, tech and finance companies, and the UK’s best universities.
This event is part of the ‘mindset’ themed events at Thrive festival.
Thrive Festival celebrates inspiration, creativity and innovation. Open to everyone, it’s a chance for those already interested or involved in enterprise to develop their skills and those who aren’t to get curious.
Enterprise/ Entrepreneurship could mean anything from a project or undertaking, taking initiative, being resourceful, being ‘business minded’ or owning a business or company.
Thrive 2022 will run between Monday 14th and Saturday 19th of November.
