Think like a Futurist and Build Successful Strategies
About this Event
This workshop will be delivered online on 15th April and 22nd April in two parts, you will be sent joining instructions by the team after you have signed up.

Who is this workshop for?
This Strategic Foresight workshop is for professionals from small to medium sized enterprises or sole traders of all industries, taking important decisions with large impact on the future of their organisation.

What will you learn?
Companies like Disney, Shell and Rolls-Royce use Strategic Foresight to inform their strategies and innovate. Would you like to know how these companies approach uncertainty and plan for the future?
By attending this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to:

  • Identify and prioritise trends
  • Develop future scenarios
  • Create actions today for your desirable future tomorrow

You will learn practical tools to take back to your organisation and start improving your products, business model and strategy immediately.

Why attend?
To run a successful venture, you need to build robust long-term strategies. Traditional strategy uses linear approaches, that are often internally focused and driven by financial forecasts that involve extrapolating past data into the future. This assumes that the past will repeat itself. However, we live in an uncertain environment with constant change being the new “normal”.
To ensure sustainable future and growth, strategy should also consider the external driving forces that will shape the operating environment of the organisation.
This workshop will acquaint you with the field of Strategic Foresight and provide an introductory knowledge into futures thinking with tools and methodology, suited for an ever changing, disruptive environment.
If you are looking to innovate and become a disruptor yourself, this workshop is for you!
