About this event
Join Tap Social for a brand new series at the taproom; Tap Talks. A casual but informative monthly series, Tap Talks will welcome experts in relevant subjects to explore and discuss social and environmental justice issues.
This month
Tap Social Movement’s monthly Tap Talks series returns on Tuesday, 7 June, at 7:30 pm, with Oxwash COO & CSO Tom de Wilton on hand to discuss circular fashion.
Every year millions of tonnes of clothes are produced, worn, and thrown away; every second the equivalent of a rubbish truck load of clothes is burnt or buried in landfill. The fashion industry is clearly broken and urgently needs to be rethought and redesigned, and circular fashion is one solution well worth exploring.
After Tom’s talk there will be time for a Q&A and general discussion, as well as an opportunity for networking.
