Share Fair: Teaching and learning Systems Thinking – 14:00-15:30 GMT
Social impact education has increasingly embraced the notion of systems thinking, moving away from atomised analysis of specific issues to developing the ability to think long term across a set of interconnected issues. In this share fair we will hear from social innovation centres and business school faculty on what it means to train the next generation of business leaders to think in systems and explore what it means from a student perspective. Panellists will talk about their journey to incorporating systems thinking into academic programming, tried and tested tools, and what is beyond the classroom that influences their teaching and learning.

Map the System 2021 round 1 student presentations- 14:00-17:15 GMT

Panel Discussion: Knowledge Equity: making systems change powerful – 16:30-18:00 GMT
Our society is upheld by systems that require oppression benefiting the privileged few and most efforts to change those systems can stifle the ingenuity, knowledge, wisdom, and leadership of those being oppressed. How can we go move from engagement to elevation; from post-its to power? What would bring about equitable placemaking, anti-racist funding, and inclusive innovation that centres indigenous and intersectional knowledge production? In this discussion, knowledge equity experts will address these questions while highlighting the interconnectedness of the four systems resets, while encouraging each audience member to step into their power as agents of equitable systems change.
