The Home Office has written to your institution recently (PDF letter sent by email, March 2023) advising of change within the Start-up and Innovator Visas under the title of “Entrepreneurial Migration” and you will be aware of the changes that come into effect in April.

These changes are being implemented by the Home Office to simplify the user experience of the Innovator visa programme and confirm the merger of the Start Up visa into a single Innovator programme.

The Home Office have offered to present these changes to EEUK Associates to focus on the university experience, and we are currently holding 24th April at 1pm for an online presentation.

Whilst we are confirming details with the Home Office, we wanted to get this into your diary as soon as possible.

We can advise that this is likely to take the form of a 15 min presentation by the Home Office, followed by answering of procedural queries and questions. *As you would expect, the Home Office will not take any questions that relate to individuals or share personal details.

To assist with this, it is likely that we will be taking questions in advance and/or seeking written questions on the day which will be put to the Home Office by EEUK Vice President, Megan Powel Vreeswijk.

This event will not be recorded.
