Work in teams to plan how best to redistribute OxUnboxed’s stock to make healthy, low-packaged foods accessible across Oxford.
The Social Action Labs are designed to equip students with the formal skills needed to create real change in student activism movements and in their careers post-graduation. More specifically, the Labs aim to guide participants from inspiration to directly engaging with the local community by becoming aware of local issues, developing a sense of agency and having the opportunity to test out ideas. The winning team will have the opportunity to put their plan in action with support and funding — benefitting both individual and community.
The Lab will take place in person at our Little Clarendon officer the course of a weekend, beginning on the evening of Friday 27th (5-6PM) to Sunday 29th May (weekend sessions running 10am-5PM). Activities include practical workshops alongside practical team planning in response to a brief, delivered by one of our existing community partners. For this upcoming Lab, you’ll be working in teams to plan for how best to redistribute OxUnboxed’s stock to make healthy, low-packaged foods accessible across Oxford.
