This workshop will bring together a diverse array of city stakeholders from the public & private sectors, academia, and local communities

We hope you’re well and coping OK during the Covid-19 pandemic.

About this Event

Our communities are under severe pressure during the crisis but there have been a few positives, less pollution, less waste and increased awareness and support for the vulnerable amongst others.

So how do we make sure that we don’t lose these positives but use technology (smartphone apps etc) to help in the Recovery Phase and Build Back Better?

Bring your ideas to the first of three virtual Zoom workshops/hackathons hosted by Tony Hart Smart Oxford and Oxfordshire Greentech, focused on environmental actions (reducing carbon, improving air quality etc) at 16.00-18.00 on Tuesday 28 July.

Please pre-register by sending your name and email address to thart@oxford.gov.uk

Please note that this webinar is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and is delivered as part of the Innovation Support for Business programme to help SMEs. By engaging in this programme you are being offered assistance under the De Minimis regulation which allows a company to receive up to but not exceeding €200,000 of public funding (at the applicable exchange rate) of De Minimis aid over a rolling three-tax year fiscal period. This de minimis declaration does not cover undertakings engaged in: the primary production of agricultural goods and fisheries/aquaculture, road freight, services of general economic interest and export related activities and activities favouring domestic over imported goods. Please note, support cannot be given to undertakings (businesses) in difficulty. In order to receive support from this programme, you will be required to complete an application form and other relevant documentation.
