Problem solving is a key skill, yet it is so often in short supply.

All businesses, especially those focussing on innovation, need to be able to solve problems. Problems faced by potential customers, problems in solution development, problems in solution deployment. If you can truly get under the skin of problems, to develop and deliver robust solutions, then your business will be unstopable!

This workshop will provide proven approaches to explore problems, to define problems and to solve problems. Attendees will then use these approaches to collaborate on solving each other’s problems.

The workshop will end at 12 noon when a buffet lunch will be provided and OxLEP Business and Innovation Advisors will join attendees to expand the newtorking opportunity.

Attendees will also be encouraged to then join a ‘Tech Networking’ event from 2pm at Harwell. Details will be shared after registration.

Follow-on one to one support is available for eligible businesses.

Ant Parsons (OxLEP Business & ALP Synergy Ltd)

Ant Parsons is a business and environmental innovator, who uses his creative leadership to help organisations think differently about problems and opportunities. He facilitates a wide range of business support groups and has worked with hundreds of businesses in the last 2 years. He also works on a broad range of projects across the research, technology, business and impact landscape in the UK and overseas.

Paula Nickson (Founder of Greater Than Ltd)

Paula is a business innovator specialising in using professional coaching to unlock the potential in people and their businesses. Her career features leadership in public, corporate, SME and 3rd sector organisations. Paula has also been the CEO of a successful social enterprise for the last 7 years. Paula’s clients are leaders in multiple sectors of business. They range from small to large enterprises and from brand new to fully established companies. What they all have in common is an appetite to move forwards, with clear energetic, integrity.
