This summer OxWEST has an exciting new opportunity for our members!

For the first time OxWEST is creating a series of new scholarships intended to provide funding to support undergraduate and Master’s students to undertake a scientific research project in the summer vacation!

Each grant is designed to help cover living expenses for the duration of your project. We have several scholarships available, for which YOU CAN ONLY SUBMIT ONE APPLICATION FOR ONE SCHOLARSHIP (i.e. you cannot apply for all 3). These are the Jo Ashbourn, Laura Herz and Katja Simon Scholarships named after our OxWEST Advisory Board members who are all leaders in STEM. The Scholarships are worth £1,000, £500 and £250 each respectively.

Each scholarship has its own specific eligibility criteria and the amount you can apply for will depend on the location and duration of your project. We welcome applications from everyone who fits both the general eligibility criteria and the specific eligibility criteria for the scholarship applied for.
