Oxford AHSN commercialisation workshops provide an introduction to key concepts for early and mid-stage businesses. These workshops will take place on 1st and 2nd June 2021 (10:30-14:30pm BST).
About this event:
These workshops, delivered by BioCity, are suitable for anyone wishing to learn more about commercialisation and best practice tools and techniques to explore your own health or life science start-up, including post-doc researchers and other academics.
Each session will provide:
• Introduction to Lean Start-up – During this session you will look at your potential customer landscape to identify their wants, needs and pain points. You will then test the commercial viability of your idea by using the processes and methodologies of ‘lean start-up’.
• Business Model Innovation – Building on the introductory session on customer needs, you will now learn how to use the Business Model Canvas to develop and plan a sound business model to help you deliver your innovation at pace and scale.
• Telling the Story – Having developed your value proposition and business model, you will now learn how to communicate your business proposition effectively to investors and other key stakeholders.
