Effort and resources exist in the research community to support commercialisation work.

Can we equip our researchers with entrepreneurial skills enabling them not only to become more self-sufficient with their commercialisation work, but also to improve productivity within their own research careers?

On the other hand, if we push innovation and commercialisation too far within research communities, are we at risk of losing the inherent value and purity of fundamental research, turning our universities into glorified contract research laboratories?

Join our panel discussion. Guest speakers: Dr Colin Cooper (Innovate UK), Dr Terri Holloway (University of Nottingham), and Prof Dave Petley (University of Sheffield).
