About this event
Join OxEN as we continue our conversation from International Women’s Day (IWD) 2021 back in March for this next webinar in our Women Founders Series:
Venture Capital for Gender Equity
Note: This session will be featured as part of the Oxford Saïd Executive Networking Forum as we welcome participants from the Oxford Saïd Business School Community to join OxEN in this important discussion.
Minerva Venture is a newly established fund whose mission is to promote mainly early-stage investment in businesses inspired and led by women.
Its objective is to address the huge global imbalance between the quantum of venture capital finance accorded to women as compared to men, while maintaining strictly commercial selection criteria.
Minerva’s business model is unique. It aims to partner with leading educational institutions in identifying and supporting female business entrepreneurs, as well as unlocking a global network of female investors, entrepreneurs, alumni and mentors sourced from vibrant university ecosystems.
Its passion is to foster gender inclusivity and diverse culture.
In this session, Tsolmon and Rudina will discuss the following:
- Demystifying women in VC – what is holding women founders back?
- Tools and practices to enter the VC market whether you’re a first time fund or looking for VC investments
- How Minerva Venture is contributing to this space of women in VC
