What is OSEF?

The Oxford Saïd Entrepreneurship Forum (OSEF) is a one-day conference, held annually by the Business School to promote entrepreneurship and innovation. The format includes: keynote sessions, panel discussions, pitching competition, and exhibition space.

Why this forum?

Entrepreneurship is a catalyst for growth and innovation and this forum has as main objectives: to engage, inform and inspire the vibrant Oxford entrepreneurial community. It brings together 500 students, entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders from around the world, and paves the way for idea generation, globally connected communities and venture growth.

What’s the 2020 edition about?

The theme of OSEF 2020 is ‘Space and beyond.’ It will feature provocative thinkers and challenger entrepreneurs that are on a fascinating journey to change the world as we know it; either driven by their ambition to explore the cosmos or by pushing the boundaries of our scientific and technical limits in matters critical to life on Earth.

Who’s the forum for?

Whether you are looking to start your own company, or keep up with trends, OSEF has something for everyone. The forum provides a platform for impactful networking to build relationships with budding entrepreneurs and investors.

Panel themes

  • Space: the final frontier?
  • Refugee entrepreneurship: Today’s camps tomorrow’s cities
  • Immortality: The quest to live forever
  • Climate change entrepreneurship: how much does the Planet matter?
