Business can be tough! A workshop to you and your business make Mental Health First Aid as high on the priority list as Physical First Aid

Being in business right now can be tough! Add to that the dark January months and cost of living crisis. Looking after your mental health and that of your staff has never been more important.

This workshop will introduce you to Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) within your organisation.

Regardless of size, from start up through to ££million business, the concept is the same. This workshop will help you understand why it is important for any business to have in place a support mechanism to ensure Mental Health First Aid is as high on the priority list as Physical First Aid and how it is nothing to be feared and simple to implement.

What will the workshop cover?

This workshop will explore some long held beliefs, stigmas and more importantly, possible bias and fear of talking about ‘mental health’. We will share simple steps to implementing a Mental Health First Aid approach. We will also offer some figures on the potential costs of not having anything in place in your organisation to support everyone.

Who is presenting?

Alyson Flynn has created The Welfare Hub from her training background, knowledge of Mental Health and as a business owner. She is a qualified Mental Health First Aid Instructor and Trauma therapist.

The Welfare Hub is a one stop shop for businesses to use for Mental Health Awareness and Mental Health First Aid training, offering consultancy and support to ensure more businesses are engaged in MHFA, continuing past the training to ongoing support and understanding that each business is unique.
