- This event has passed.
When the buck stops with you for a massive mix of marketing activities, you’ve got to just get your head down and get stuff done. But what that often means is that you don’t have the time – or brain space – to look around you at the wider marketing landscape.
So we’re wrapping up the year with a chance to take your eyes off that never-ending to-do list and ponder the big picture for an evening.
We’ll be kicking things off with each of our panel sharing their perspective on the key trends and changes in marketing and how those things should affect our mindset and strategies. We’ll also be learning from their experience, hearing about specific areas or approaches where they’ve seen big wins – or epic fails!
Then we’ll open the floor for a more general Q&A, where you can ask any (or all) of our panel your most pressing marketing questions or pick their brains about a particular challenge your business is facing.
OUR PANEL:
> Lizzie Shannon-Little, Global Head of Communications & Marketing at Oxford Policy Management
> Colin Cather, Creative Director at Bottle PR
> Samantha Harman, freelance Style Coach (and former journalist and Editor-in-Chief of Oxfordshire Living magazine)
> [4th panelist TBC]

How our gatherings usually go
🍻 6pm: Doors open for (free) drinks, marketing chit-chat, and – let’s face it – probably at least some small talk about the weather
🧑🏫 6.15-7.15pm: A brilliant marketing talk from a knowledgeable and interesting human, plus some Q&A and informal group discussion
🤓 7.15-7.30pm: It’s GUS time (that’s Genuinely Useful Shit)
🍻 7.30-8pm: More (still free) drinks and fun chat, hopefully about more interesting stuff than the weather by this point
Hosted by brand voice strategist Bethany Joy, in partnership with the fantastic Oxford College of Marketing.
*Tickets are free (the best flavour) but it’s still super helpful if you book one, so we’ve got a rough idea of who’s coming on the night. Hope to see you there 😁
