
The Insights for Action seminar series explores how researchers and practitioners within and beyond Oxford are using research insights to drive social change.
In this seminar we will discuss wellness and wellbeing in the social impact sector: What is the current state of play, why is wellbeing essential to sustaining social impact work, and how can we foster greater wellbeing for individuals, organisations, and the sector as a whole?
Speakers:
Dr Adaku Agwunobi is an academic researcher focused on the health and wellbeing of health tech entrepreneurs in the UK and Nigeria, and also the Founder of Hair Goals, a tech-savvy natural hair and wellness social enterprise. She is an Early Career Research Fellow at the Skoll Centre.
Tara Montgomery s a change leadership advisor and social entrepreneur, and founder of Civic Health Partners, an independent consulting and coaching practice that helps purpose-driven health and technology leaders build thriving organisations through trustworthy leadership habits. She is an Executive in Residence at Saïd Business School and the Skoll Centre.
Dr Laurence Wainwright is Course Director of the MSc in Sustainability, Enterprise and the Environment and a Departmental Lecturer in the Smith School for Enterprise and Environment at the University of Oxford. He is also an Early Career Research Fellow at the Skoll Centre.
