This online session, is an introduction to impact investment and how purposeful businesses can get investment ready.

The impact investment scene is buzzing, with a growing number of investors looking for social and environmental as well as financial returns on their investment. From angel investors and specialist venture capital funds to global banks with dedicated social investment teams, there are more opportunities than ever before to secure funds to help you scale your business – and your impact. This webinar will help you understand these opportunities, how to identify the right investor for you and make sure you have taken all the steps to get impact investment ready.

What you will learn:
the types of funders that may invest
different types of investment, including equity and debt
what investors will want to see from you and your business before investing
the due diligence process
what to expect from an investor after they have invested

Facilitator
Ray Coyle is a former lawyer that led the impact investment team at Osborne Clarke and has advised numerous impact investor and social enterprises. He was also CEO of auticon UK, which received investment from Richard Branson and Esmee Fairbairn. Ray is currently a director at Oxford Hub and a committee member at the National Lottery Community Fund as well as a director of OSEP.
