The Insights for Action seminar series explores how researchers and practitioners within and beyond Oxford are using research insights for action. Join us to hear conversations between researchers and practitioners who are working across disciplines, sectors, and media to understand and create more equitable and just social, economic, environmental and health systems.

In this seminar, Professor Marya Besharov and Baljeet Sandhu MBE will reflect on the role of leadership in systems change, drawing on Marya’s research on how organisations and leaders navigate competing demands and Baljeet’s work with practitioners and organisations working at the cutting edge of inequitable and unjust systems.

Professor Marya Besharov is Professor of Organisations and Impact at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and the Academic Director of the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship.

Baljeet Sandhu MBE is the CEO of the Centre for Knowledge Equity and a Visiting Fellow at the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship.
