An initiative powered by the Entrepreneurship Centre
Innovators in Industry is designed for students looking to have an impact and lead change in an organisation. Sessions provide insights to be able to understand real-life challenges in complex structures and how to innovate within them. This is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the challenges of being an intrapreneur, how to implement new ideas, work across multiple organisational levels and how to make innovation sustainable. You will be able to share their own professional experience as well as learn from others.
Each session welcomes an industry expert who will share not only the current state of their industry and organisation, but also challenges they have experienced in their roles. Additionally, we encourage experts to pose questions and challenges for the session that will allow participants to put forward ideas and possible solutions that address these and engage their entrepreneurial spirits. To create variety and demonstrate the diversity across complex organisations, we invite industry experts from international organisations, governments, scale-ups, not-for-profits and corporates.
Friday 17 June – 11.30am – 13.00 – Eugenie Teasley – An interactive, dynamic session discovering different innovation practices and processes in tech companies, such as Uber and Amazon. You will hear about Eugenie’s experience at both companies. Plus, you can test the PRFAQ model to sell a vision. Bring an entrepreneurial idea of your own, or partner up with someone, to make this useful and impactful for your future.
