About this Event
Gain insights into the importance of lived experience and future trends of social investment post COVID-19. Exploring how we can enhance this ‘social shift’ and reduce potential unintended consequences.

Michael Blake’s Bio:
Michael Blake is a corporate responsibility and social investment professional with experience of stakeholder management and delivering community investment, strategic partnerships, fundraising, grant giving and volunteering programmes. This has been gained from working with a wide range of companies, government departments, charities and individuals.
Through previously working at Unltd he worked with corporate partners and individual social investors and helped to account manage partnerships with the likes of UBS, City and Guilds and Skagen Conscience Capital as well as introducing social enterprises into corporate supply chains, ensuring that their commercial revenue had a social impact.
He also sits on the Spirit of 2012 Youth Advisory Panel where he is responsible for allocating £250,000 of grant funding through the Spirit of 2012 Challenge Fund to projects that will empower young people and alleviate issues such as mental illness, isolation and homelessness.
