This online workshop, co-hosted by IDEA and Women on Boards, has been designed for members of the Oxfordshire entrepreneurship ecosystem (who are residents in or based in Oxfordshire). This includes women* academic staff, professional services staff and staff working with University of Oxford spin-out companies. The event has reserved spaces for applicants to the IDEA Board Experience Programme.

Please only sign-up if you able to attend the workshop on 13th October (1-3pm UK time).

This workshop, ‘Getting Started: Realising your board potential’, is designed for those considering their first board role or seeking to add a new non-executive director (NED) or trustee role to their portfolio. Participants will learn what it takes to be a director and strategies for including board work in their career.

The workshop is practical, strategic, and interactive. IDEA is hosting this workshop with Women on Boards, a network of 30,000 women, and some men, who are starting and shaping their board careers. The network includes those with all levels of board experience, across all sectors and professional disciplines.

To be considered for attending this workshop, please complete the submission form on this link. Once you’ve submitted this form, IDEA will review your submission and send through the required Zoom link and passcode.

Please only sign-up if you able to attend the workshop on 13th October (1-3pm UK time).
