The IDEA Programme is organising a book club led by Professor Abigail Williams, Professor of Eighteenth-Century Studies, Associate Head of Research for the Humanities Division, St Peter’s College, University of Oxford.

The book being discussed at the event is ‘Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men’ by Caroline Criado Perez. We are going to discuss Chapter 1 of the book. We will have a few copies of the book available to borrow, but if you’d like to buy your own book second hand copies are available to purchase from around £5.

We are hoping to bring like-minded people to engage with the IDEA community, discuss the chapter and network. We are also giving away one free drink, so do come along!

(Spaces are limited to 20 spots due to space considerations, please RSVP by 10th March 2023) to book, please express your interest in attending by emailing idea@admin.ox.ac.uk
