The IDEA Programme is organising a book club event on 25th May, 2022 from 5.30-7.00 pm at the The King’s Arms Pub, 40 Holywell Street, Oxford, OX1 3SP. The event will be led by Professor Abigail Williams, Professor of Eighteenth-Century Studies, Associate Head of Research for the Humanities Division, St Peter’s College, University of Oxford.

The book being discussed at the event is ‘Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men’ by Caroline Criado Perez. We will have a few copies of the book available to borrow, but if you’d like to buy your own book second hand copies are available to purchase from around £5.

We are hoping to bring like-minded people to engage with the IDEA community, discuss the chapter and network. We are also giving away one free drink, so do come along!

(Spaces are limited to 20 spots due to space considerations, please RSVP by 20th May 2023)
