Find out how to get your company seen and heard through the right media, with one of Bottle PR’s Lead Publishers, Tom Hindle

About this event

This month’s speaker is Tom Hindle, Lead Publisher at digital PR agency Bottle. Tom lives in Didcot, where he moonlights as a murder mystery author and spends considerably more time than he would like chasing after two surprisingly cunning tortoises.

He’ll be sharing what makes a great story and how to make it appealing for journalists, as well as spotting opportunities to get involved in the news as it unfolds. The media can often be a daunting place – so whether it’s choosing the best publications for your story, knowing what never to say to a reporter, or just choosing which details to include in a press release, you’ll leave with all the tools you need to get the right eyes on your brand.

How our gatherings tend to go

6pm: Doors open for (free) drinks, marketing chit-chat, and – let’s face it – probably at least some small talk about the weather

6.30-7.15pm: A brilliant marketing talk from a knowledgeable and interesting human

7.15-7.30pm: It’s GUS time (that’s Genuinely Useful Shit)

7.30-8pm: More (still free) drinks and fun chat (hopefully about more interesting stuff than the weather by this point)

Hosted by local brand voice crafter Bethany Joy, in partnership with wonderfully-lovely HR and talent specialists Pink Giraffe and the fantastic Oxford College of Marketing.

*Tickets are free (the best flavour) but it’s still super helpful if you book one, so we’ve got a rough idea of who’s coming on the night. Hope to see you there 🙂
